Elisa
26 years old, seamstress specialising in lingerie and leather goods. She has worked for small French lingerie brands like Maison Finou, and then for a company manufacturing luxury leather products. Today, she is at the head of our small business.
Thanks to her know-how and her talent for playing with colours, textures and sounds, she imagines, creates and manufacturesthe Maison Polissonne products.

David
37 years old, engineer, corporate trainer, is also passionate about Shibari, an artistic practice of bondage that he shares on his Instagram account ROPE.IN.PARIS with over 6,000 followers.
He imagines, creates and manufactures the products, manages communication, production and brand development.

What we stand for
Si Maison Polissonne existe aujourd'hui, c'est parce que nous avons fait un constat simple : trop de couples n'osent pas. Pas parce qu'ils n'en ont pas envie, mais parce que personne ne leur tend la main. Le monde du BDSM peut sembler intimidant vu de l'extérieur, des codes stricts, une esthétique sombre, un vocabulaire réservé aux initiés. Nous avons voulu proposer autre chose.

A craft expertise rooted in Paris
Our accessories do not come from a factory. Each piece takes shape in our Parisian workshop, in the hands of Elisa. From cutting the leather to placing the last rivet, everything is done by hand, with a standard inherited from her background in luxury leather goods.
Les cuirs que nous utilisons racontent eux aussi une histoire : ce sont des chutes et des fins de stocks de grandes maisons françaises, tannés de façon traditionnelle en Alsace. En leur donnant une seconde vie sous forme de menottes artisanales, de colliers élégants ou de martinets au design soigné, nous inscrivons Maison Polissonne dans une démarche à la fois responsable et haut de gamme. Aucun gaspillage, que du beau.
Chaque produit est fabriqué en micro-série numérotée et livré avec un certificat d'authenticité. Cela signifie que votre pièce existe en seulement quelques exemplaires dans le monde — un objet intime qui n'appartient qu'à vous.
Why our colours change everything
One of the first things you notice at Maison Polissonne is the colours. Powder pink, lilac, far from the usual black and red. This choice is not trivial. We want our BDSM accessories to be as pleasing to the eye as they are to the touch.
